Our story
I'm Jonathan Hamilton — husband to Gabi, my wife and the love of my life since we married in February 2011, and dad to twin eight-year-old boys who are the whole reason this business exists. Over the past 25 years, I've lived in 19 countries and led and managed thousands of people across every walk of life you can imagine. For the last decade, I've been a co-founder and CEO building a technology distribution business. After walking away from big corporate positions, I wanted to build something different — a business where blue-collar workers get a real shot at financial stability through small ownership in the business itself, not just a paycheck. We're a Christian family first, and everything we've built here — the trucks, the crews, the way we talk to customers — flows out of that.
I didn't start The Hamilton Boys to build the biggest company in Texas. I started it to build something I could one day hand to my sons — but more than that, to use as a classroom. Long before either of them ever runs a crew or writes an estimate, I want them to have learned the things that actually matter: hard work, showing up when you say you will, taking pride in a job even when nobody's watching, and pricing people fairly because it's the right thing to do.
"Be watchful. Stand firm in your faith. Act like men. Be strong. Let all you do be done in love."
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 — our north star
Gabi and I built our marriage, our home, and now this business on that verse. It's how we're raising our boys. Be watchful means paying attention — to your family, your work, your walk with God. Stand firm in your faith means holding your ground on what's right even when it's easier not to. Act like men, be strong is the charge we give our sons every day — show up, be dependable, carry your weight. And let all you do be done in love is the reminder that none of it means anything without love behind it — for your family, your neighbor, and the customer whose home you're standing in.
When we're not on a job site, you'll usually find us outside. We fish and hunt together as a family, and our boys are being raised right alongside us on the ball field — I coach their baseball team. We also train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu together — the boys are grey and white belts working toward grey/black, and I'm a blue belt, which mostly means they've started catching me on the mat more than I'd like to admit. Between football season, camping trips, workouts, and keeping an eye on our small flock of backyard chickens, it's a full, loud, good life — and it's the same life we bring with us to every property we service.
We show up
On time, every time, or we call you before you have to call us. That's reliability.
We do it right the first time
Pride in the work isn't optional around here — it's the whole point. That's grit.
We price it straight
No inflated quotes, no upsell games — just honest pricing for honest work. That's honesty and transparency.
We tell you the truth
Even when it costs us the job. If something doesn't need fixing, we'll say so. That's integrity.
We treat your property like our own
Because the same values that run our household run our crews. That's accountability.
We're not going anywhere
We're building this for our sons to inherit — that means we're in this community for the long haul. That's loyalty.
